Bailey launches The What Co. devising troupe.

OCT. 2020 – Bailey Lee and longtime collaborator Coleman Ray Clark, launch “The What Co.” to create original devised play “Blue Marble (or The Owen Play)” as a socially-distanced outdoor event in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Bailey joins “The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals”

AUG. 2020 – Bailey Lee joins 40 young actors, writers, directors, and producers from around the world as part of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals fellows 2020.

Bailey performed in “The Water Rumbles in Limbo Time” by Marissa Joyce Stamps, during The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals live-streamed event.

Lincoln Center Education announces 2019 Kenan Fellows

MAY 2019 – Bailey selected for The William R. Kenan, Jr. Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education, a six-month teaching artist training program.

Prairie” devised by Bailey Lee, Cricket Brown, Coleman Ray Clark, Jaevon Williams, and Jamie Dawson performed in Dec. 2019 at Lincoln Center’s Clark Studio Theater.

Bailey also performed in “Lesson for the Future” written by Dyer Rhoads.

Together the Kenan Fellows created “Super Trouper”, a pop-up performance at Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park for NYC middle school students.

The Aris Project residency brings new plays to NYC from Damariscotta, Maine

MAY 2018 – Bailey spent her summer in residency creating new plays on a farm in Damariscotta, Maine as part of The Aris Project. Inside the barn, collaborators spend their days writing, devising, composing, building puppets, and presenting new work for the community in Maine.

Bailey performed in “The Aris Project: An Evening Of New Plays” at Playwrights Horizon’s Downtown.
